Used Daewoo Forklifts

Daewoo Heavy Industries Limited was founded in 1976, and their forklift division began manufacturing throughout Korea in 1978. Daewoo was introduced to the US when Caterpillar proposed a joint venture in 1981 to boost both companies’ sales in the material handling industry.

Used Daewoo forklifts are categorized as hand pallet trucks, internal combustion vehicles, and electric vehicles. Daewoo hand pallet trucks have an average lift capacity of 5,500 pounds. Daewoo internal combustion vehicles are equipped with either cushion or pneumatic tires and have a large lift capacity ranging from 3,000 to 36,000 pounds. These vehicles are designed for high performance on tough jobsites and include powerful, efficient turbocharged diesel engines and electronically controlled auto-shift transmissions to offer greater precision when maneuvering heavy loads. Daewoo also offers a special application internal combustion vehicle in the GX series with a lift capacity of 4,000 to 6,000 pounds.

Daewoo electric forklifts have lift capacities ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 pounds with three-wheel, four-wheel, or 24 V rear wheel drive. These electric vehicles are operated with Active Control Technology with a full AC system for smoother and more efficient driver control. Daewoo electric forklifts are designed for indoor use and offer a longer run time per battery charge to improve energy efficiency.
